How it’s done

At Aster Farms we like to say - we feed the soil, not the plant. We believe that growing cannabis in ground, in living soil, is the best way to express the complex profiles of our strains. By practicing regenerative agricultural including no till practices, planting cover crop, and fostering an ecosystem of beneficial insects, pollinators and garden creatures we’re cultivating the highest quality cannabis while doing right by our planet.

Situated in Lake County, Aster Farms grows in the ideal climate for cannabis cultivation in all of California. Our farm is higher and dryer allowing for a longer grow season, and has a diurnal cycle that often results in a 50 degree temperature swing in 24 hours, leading to more complex cannabinoid and terpene profiles.
